My name is Robert Hotte and I’ve been tattooing on Long Island since 2003. I opened Solid Gold Tattoo in 2011, wanting a laid-back, welcoming spot where people could get solid, clean work. Tattooing and art has been my passion for over two decades, and when I’m not in the shop, I’m usually drawing, painting or working on crappy old cars . I love what I do, I love the culture around it and I’m grateful every day that tattooing is my life.

I’m Danielle Vetter, co-owner of Solid Gold Tattoo, and I’ve been tattooing for about 20 years. I love creating bold, colorful pieces just as much as I enjoy designing fine-line, delicate tattoos. My work is all about blending skill, creativity, and collaboration to make art that feels personal and meaningful to every client who sits in my chair.

You can call me Wilkie. Entering my 17th year as a tattoo artist, I am a New York-based artist whose primary passions are Traditional and Old School tattoo styles, though I have significant experience working in Cartoon, Abstract, Small, and Blackwork styles. I have a bachelor’s degree in art from Hofstra University and apprenticed under John Jagusak, who is currently serving as a lead character designer for Disney. My work has been recognized by such magazines as Skin Art Tattoos for men and Freshly Inked. I have also been awarded at Tattoo conventions across the country.
